Actually, it wasnāt as bad as all that. While last yearās was more of a cringe-worthy dance party serving to release the pent-up energy among long-term isolates, this yearās conference had a bit more substance.
As boring as a Bitcoin ecosystem may be relative to ETH, the number of hardened maximalists who truly dislike the rival camp are in fact quite small. Most people seem to have some BTC, some ETH, some other coins.
In that spirit, I tend to believe itās worthwhile to highlight the overlap in the communities. Sam Kazemian has been citing Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins as the three ātrillion dollar narrativesā in crypto. Bitcoin remains the largest market cap by far, and its pumps and dumps disproportionately drive the market. We all have a vested interest in rooting for its success.
