Ethereum
The Berlin upgrade is officially live.
Etherscan had a few issues dealing with the migration, but overall the transition was smooth.


On core dev call #110 this past weekend much of the focus turned to the upcoming London release and 1559. There’s so much to do, the team added a bonus dev call for Friday:

Dogecoin has no dev updates because it’s already reached max level.

Vyper
Vyper released a new version defaulting to the Berlin EVM. Among other goodies, Vyper also now provides support for signed uint256 types, Python 3.9, and the msg.data environment variable.

Brownie
A new Brownie minor release is also out, increasing support for private repositories and supporting passphrases for accounts.

Chainlink released a second white paper, presenting their vision for a decentralized oracle network.
