Unlike one of the people on the call today, we’re not artistically inclined. All the same, we pulled out our best MS Paint skills to prepare this diagram…
Coincidence?
Recently joining the Curve devs, Ser Tutti in fact has assembled quite a DeFi portfolio. As a Product Designer and UI/UX expert, he started from a completely different world, but currently lends his talents to both JPEGd_69 and Curve, and previously worked with Olympus (3,3) and 3xcalibur.
It’s quite an impressive portfolio for anybody who follows DeFi, but even more so if you are lucky enough to have the chance to work with Ser Tutti. He puts a level of thought and attention that goes into his design process that clearly demonstrates his outstanding talent. It’s not just the fact that his designs are gorgeous… such as the retro pixelated case of JPEG’d.
Underlying this design is a methodical process, in which he really deconstructs and gets to understand the fundamental user base being targeted. For the case of JPEG’d, of course, it’s a very different set than the Curve world… NFT traders are a very distinct use case.
For years Curve was anathema to design, so how does ser Tutti work with such a challenge? How do you work in an environment when the company logo’s “color scheme” is the entire spectrum of visible light?
Already, you’re starting to see his outstanding design sense bleeding over onto Curve’s latest launches. Consider the revamped news site…
Or the new Saving crvUSD site…
We’re old enough to remember when our social media feed was full of users complaining about Curve UI… it’s so refreshing to see users praising it instead!
We’ll be looking forward to talking design today, please join us with your questions live!
