Jan. 25, 2022: Pursuit of Happyness 🎂🥳🎈

I’m not a big believer in birthdays. Usually I prefer to just celebrate with whomever incidentally happens to be in my proximity at the occasion.

This year I’m lucky because that’s all of you. It’s an incredible blessing to have such fun and intelligent company to celebrate with, especially since this one happens to be a biggie. Thank you, fam!

As one of the wizened elders in the space, I’m feeling particularly reflective on the nature of greed. We all got too greedy during this bull run. These past few days we’ve observed the psychological consequences manifesting as the markets dipped. Everybody has their issues, and lately some people’s demons are on full display.

We can’t wrestle with our demons when markets run green, we’re overcome by greed. If a bear market does indeed roar, I hope we can all take advantage of such an opportunity to focus on our own self-improvement and strengthening our community.
